16 - Glen Bullock
I was a college classmate (we were in AFROTC) and friend of Glen Bullock. In my view he had good prospects to go a long way in the USAF. I didn't really get to see him much once we hit active duty. He and I did get together while he was in UPT at Craig AFB , AL and I was TDY to a school at Maxwell. While he was at Nellis he came in to see me as I was stationed at the then Los Angeles AFS (Space Systems Division of AF Systems Command).
I have made some postings on virtual walls about Glen. In fact the picture you have on your site is the one I posted on the walls. Initially I thought he was in the 469th TFS but found out later he was in the 34th.
I would like to hear from those who knew and flew with Glen in those few short months at Korat May-Oct 66. Hopefully he was the kind of officer I felt he would be.
I was lucky and spent 27 years all in the research, development, test and acquisition business -- space, aircraft and munitions and made one more grade than I thought I would -- lots of right place, right time, right support.
I currently live adjacent to Eglin AFB FL where I did three assignments.
